When I was a pre-teen, I had a passion for learning how to edit videos and YouTube. I started off with Windows Movie Maker and progressed to Pinnacle Studio, One True Media to then working professionally with Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer in the television and corporate industry.
2017-2018, I was the successful candidate to have been hired for a Trainee Editor role with Harbourside Films alongside University of Strathclyde to edit educational and News bulletin stories for internal and external stakeholders on the progression of the Groundwater Management Programme in Southern Malawi. I really enjoyed this job as it enabled me to gain an insight into a career in editing to learn and develop vital skills of captivating the audience with compelling storytelling through concise, creative and technical choices.
Looking at my career, I've worked on a diverse range of genres; documentary, factual entertainment, quiz/game shows, outdoor sporting events, crime and drama for independent production companies and in-house broadcasters.
With a keen interest in post production, I have worked as a Logger, Transcriber, Technical Operator, Edit Assistant/Assistant Editor and Junior Editor on programmes of; Scam Interceptors, Click, The Weakest Link, River City and Casualty.

BBC Studios| River City: Tall Ship Tales (Monologues) for Social Media
This was my first taster on an internal training opportunity back in 2021 to work with directors and producers to edit character's stories for the audience on Social Media channels; Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Each character opens up about events that's happened in their lives and provides words of wisdom to the viewers.

Working as Assistant Editor, I also had the opportunity to get some Editor training in
practice cutting scenes on Charlie's final episode.
